This limited-edition release results from a collaboration between Macanudo and Napa Valley’s Flint Knoll Winery, where select tobaccos are aged in French oak barrels that previously held the winery’s esteemed Cabernet Sauvignon.
At the heart of this cigar is a 10-year-aged Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, known for its smooth texture and subtle sweetness. Beneath lies a U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf binder, aged in wine barrels to impart additional complexity, and a filler blend comprising Brazilian Mata Fina, Dominican Olor, Dominican Piloto Cubano, and Nicaraguan Jalapa tobaccos.
Upon lighting, the cigar reveals a symphony of flavors: initial notes of creamy vanilla and toasted nuts evolve into hints of cedar and subtle fruitiness, culminating in a refined finish that reflects its unique aging process.
