The case is sealed by a magnetic connection between the top and main body of the case. To keep it in place, there is a gasket on the body that fits into a groove on the top.
When you open the storage case, you will notice 3 uniquely shaped compartments. Use them as you wish, since each shape can accommodate a different item. For instance, the straight-edged compartment works great for storing a one hitter.
